I do believe Zachariah is correct.
Who was the band that rode horses with their gig gear - amps, instruments etc. - slung over the horses' backs? I think it may have been Leslie West & Mountain, but ??????????????

In the early seventies some or all of the Firesign Theater members were writers for and acted in a western movie. Jean Luc Ponte played violin in the movie, too. Does anyone remember the name of the movie?
In one scene, a group of mounted outlaws waited on a hill for a stagecoach. When the stagecoach went by,, the outlaws charged down the hill and gave chase. When the stagecoach driver noticed the outlaws, he cracked his whip and the stagecoach disappeared in the distance, leaving the outlaws in the dust."Fastest damed stagecoach I ever seen."said one of the outlaws.

Someone please help.

Thank you,

Dan
